Through all the different chapters of my life, I’ve embraced each role with passion and purpose. Being a mother is at the heart of everything I do, but I've also had the privilege of exploring creative and empowering careers along the way. As an author, I share stories that inspire and educate, and as a trainer and motivational speaker, I strive to empower others to achieve their best selves. From Pen to Pour: Shequera Donshell's Journey into Wine and Creativity

Shequera Donshell is a devoted mother and self-published author, passionate about inspiring and empowering others. She balances her role as a mother to Landon Gianni Rhodes with creating books that educate and validate individuals. Her works, including The Gianni Series, To the Father I Lost, and Life’s a Mother, aim to make a lasting impact on the Black community and the literary world.

In addition to writing, Shequera has ventured into wine branding, partnering with a winery to bring her vision to life. While not yet her own blend, she’s been experimenting with fermenting wines at home, and the results have been impressive. Her ultimate goal is to create a signature wine paired with a wine bar offering live music, poetry, and more—fostering a jazzy, artistic vibe.

Her motto: "Live to inspire. Lead by example." Shequera continues to uplift others through her work and personal journey.
